That's The Golden Girls in Spanish. That's what I'm calling Abuela and her 93 year old sister, Tia Zenaida. Vince calls them the party girls, which is also an apt description. We have the awesome fortune to be here at the same time these two are having a sleepover, and let me tell you, it's hilarious! Here are some things I wish I had gotten picture of:
-Tia having a Busch beer at 10am on a Sunday
-Abuela and Tia finishing Vince's Sam Adams IPA and 2 bottles of craft brew
-Abuela cooking blood sausage at 11pm, just cuz
-Tia drinking my Starbcks iced latte and then asking, was that for me? After I said, sure it's yours, she said, I didn't like it
-the two of them sitting outside every night shooting the breeze, well after we went to bed
-Tia taking hour long showers, just cuz
