To grandmothers' house we go!

As fun as our outings were, the main reason we came to PR was so that Olivia could meet her grandmother (Bela), Sandra and her great-grandmother (Abuela), Carmen. They had been video chatting with her every week but you just can't squeeze her thigh or smell her belly through video chat. That's why we decided to bring her, and it was just in time to celebrate Bela's birthday! As soon as we got to the house she spent as much time with her grandmothers as she could. Here's some of the stuff they did together!

Bela showed Olivia Abuela's beautiful garden.

They cracked jokes in the yard.
 Bela gave O a bath.

They hung out at the beach on Bela's birthday.

And they spent a lot of time just hanging out at home.

We all had a great time in Puerto Rico, especially the time we spent with family. This was the perfect first trip for Olivia in terms of distance and duration: she slept through most of the 3 hour flight and 5 days was just long enough to spend time with Bela and Abuela without O getting too far off her routine. I'm so proud of how well she did and we can't wait to go back! Hasta luego Puerto Rico!
