Up! Up! And away!

Olivia took her first flight today and she was fantastic! We got her packed last night,

and she was all ready to go at 6:00am

I didn't even need my alarm to go off at 5am because she woke me up at 4:30 just to be sure we were on time (or because she was hungry, either way we were already up). She was so great from check-in to boarding, you'd think she's done this before! And I'm pretty impressed with how great Vince and I did at the airport as well, there was no fumbling or panic, Olivia seems to have incorporated herself into our well-choreographed airport routine seamlessly.
We just flew from New Jersey and boy are my arms tired!

She slept through takeoff and landing and the change in pressure didn't seem to affect her. She woke up about half an hour into the flight, ate, and went right back to sleep. She only woke up in the airport when I changed her diaper. Here she is picking up our bags from the carousel.

So now that we've gotten through what I thought would be a really tough first experience, let's see how she does the rest of this trip. Stay tuned for Olivia's adventures in Puerto Rico!
